All children must be picked up by 6:30 p.m. unless special arrangements have been made in advance.

A late fee of $1.00 per minute will apply for pick-ups after closing time.

Fees & Payments

Registration Fee: A non-refundable $299 fee per child is required at the time of enrolment.

Deposit: A deposit equal to 20 days of fees per child must be paid before your child’s first day. This deposit will be held in a non-interest-bearing account and applied upon withdrawal (with proper notice).

Example: A child attending full-time, 5 days per week = 20 days × daily fee.

Monthly Payments:

Fees are due on the 1st day of each month.

Payment options: cash, cheque, or e-transfer to happybrightbabies7@gmail.com.

Late or Returned Payments:

$5.00 late fee per day for overdue payments.

$60.00 fee for returned (NSF) cheques.

After two returned cheques, future payments must be made in cash.

Absences

Please notify the daycare before 9:00 a.m. if your child will be absent. You may call, text, or leave a voicemail.

For planned vacations, provide written notice with the dates your child will be away.

Fees remain payable during absences due to illness, statutory holidays, or vacation to maintain your child’s spot in the program.

Illness Policy

To protect all children, a sick child may not attend daycare. Children may return once symptoms have cleared.

A child is considered ill if they have any of the following:

  • Persistent sneezing or coughing
  • Coloured nasal discharge
  • Sore throat with fever or swollen glands
  • Eye or ear discharge
  • Diarrhea (3+ watery stools within 24 hours)
  • Vomiting (2+ times within 24 hours)
  • Fever of 38°C (100.4°F) or higher
  • Eye infection
  • Rash with fever or itching

Discipline & Adjustment

All new children start with a two-week trial period to help them adjust and to ensure a good fit.

During this time, either the parent/guardian or the day care may choose to end the agreement without penalty.

Termination of Care

The daycare reserves the right to terminate care at any time for reasons including, but not limited to:

  • Late or unpaid fees
  • Repeated misbehavior or disruptive conduct
  • Situations affecting the safety and well-being of others
  • Parents/guardians may also withdraw their child at any time by giving 60 days’ written notice.
  • If proper notice is not given, the 20-day deposit will be forfeited.
